A new state law banning motorist from using their cell phones while driving through school zones took effect on August 31, 2009. There are signs in the school zones around town that show that cell phone use is prohibited during school hours. Let's obey this law in an effort to keep school zones safe for all children.
Cell phones are prohibited at all campuses during school hours. Students may turn in their phone to the front office before school and pick them up after school. If a student is caught with a cell phone during school hours, the cell phone will be confiscated and held in the front office. Parents only ones have the authority to pick up the cell phones, not students.
